St Lucia is home to many good scuba diving locations. Trou Diable is also available. Anse Chastanet, Trou Diable and Anse Cochon North & South all make excellent scuba diving locations. The plateau is a good spot for drift diving because of the strong currents that run over the plateau. This area is home to large shoals and nurse sharks as well as turtles and sting rays.

Anse Chastanet

Anse Chastanet in St Lucia is known for its unusual marine life and popularity as a scuba diving spot. It is home to more than 150 species of fish and stretches to 20 to 140 feet deep. It's also a popular location for underwater photographers.

The Anse Chastanet resort can be found in a peaceful setting near the Pitons, and close to some of the island's most famous reefs. It was opened in 1968 and has since grown to be a 48-room resort. It is located between two steep hillsides and two ridges. This gives it a breathtaking location.

Ansechastanet offers the perfect location to enjoy scuba-diving in St Lucia and many other activities. Guests can use the resort's custom-built trails, take yoga classes or sail with the resort's yacht sailing yacht. You can also relax in one of the many hammocks on the beach and take guided walks and hikes through the six-acre estate.


Trou Diable

Trou Diable is an excellent place to start your scuba diving vacation to St Lucia. This dive site is 40 feet deep and features an amazing coral reef. Divers can circle the reef 100 feet below the surface and see a variety of tropical fish and turtles.

Saint Lucia has many options for experienced divers and those looking for new challenges. The east coast is home to excellent coral reefs. Additionally, the north and southern ends offer protection from easterly winds and dangerous wave conditions. Many experienced divers can be found in Saint Lucia. Many of these are conveniently located near the island's major resorts. It is a great place to learn a beginner or certification course.

Anse Cochon North & South

Anse Cochon North & South Reef offer two sites for scuba divers, located between these islands. Both can be reached by the beach from a depth of about 10 to 40 feet. These are excellent dive spots for both beginners and advanced divers. While the northern side of the reef is home to more coral, reef fish are plentiful at either end. Expect to see trumpetfishes, sea whips and eels as well as octopus.

Anse Cochon's south end is home to the Lesleen M, an abandoned cargo ship. The Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia used it as an artificial reef in 1986. The seagrass bed that surrounds the wreck attracts many fish species. Barracudas and stingrays could also be seen at the wreck.
