Diving Certificate Levels

An introductory course is the best way to learn if you are interested in diving, but don't know where to start. A buceo, or baptism of the water, is this course is great for people with no diving experience and those with short time. You can begin diving in 12 metres or up, but you'll need a dive instructor to complete the course. If you choose to continue your training, you will be able to obtain a Rescue or Advanced open-water certification.

PADI Scuba Diver

There are many PADI Scuba Diver level options. Beginners can start with the introductory course, and then progress to a higher level when they reach certain levels. The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of 14 modules, which are broken into three sections. Although the course is usually three days long, you can upgrade it in as little as one and a half days. This is the most popular course in the world and will allow you to dive to 18 meters.

Open water diving for advanced divers

Open water divers who have completed the Open Water Diver Course have an AOW certification. AOW divers have the ability to dive at depths exceeding 60 feet. They can also learn buoyancy and air consumption. Advanced open water divers can also do specialty dives such as wreck diving. There are many levels to an AOW certificate. Rescue diver

There are three types of Rescue Diver certificates: one for recreational diving, the other for technical diving and one for dive leader. International Standards Organisation, (ISO), establishes the standards. The levels of this training are based on BS EN 14413-2:2004 and ISO 24801-1:2004, respectively. Instructors who are level-one can instruct recreational divers and assess their knowledge to the level of a diver. They also have the ability to plan and conduct dives. They are also qualified to lead open-water divers and teach rescue skills.

Cave-1 class

An instructor must have minimum 40 hours of experience and academic instruction to be certified as a cave diver. The course content covers cave diving skills and procedures, emergency procedures, and information about the hazards and challenges in the environment. During their cave course, students are tested on their skills. There are two parts to the course: academics and water-based activities. Students must also pass a quiz and take an exam to prove their proficiency. Students must complete the cave diving course manual.

Master Scuba Diver

Master Scuba Diver certification can be obtained in five levels. Open Water dive is the initial level. This allows you to learn how and where to manage your equipment and dive. You have the option to choose electives for the second and third levels. You can dive with other Master Scuba Divers as long as they are also certified. This level also comes with a 10% discount on the five courses.
