Leo Carillo

Anacapa Island

The region offers diving that is not only great for beginners but also for seasoned divers. The waters surrounding the island are warm enough to allow you to dive with a wetsuit. In the fall and late summer, surface temperatures can reach 70 degrees F (21 degrees Celsius). In winter, temperatures may drop as low to 50 degrees F (10oC). A 7mm wetsuit should be used. During these months, visibility is at least 100ft (30M).
The Anacapa dive site is accessible by diving charter boats and the island's Island Packers. There are numerous dive sites available on the island, including a 40-foot-tall arch rock. These sites can also been viewed from the water surface by snorkeling gear.
Veteran's park
