Is Scuba Elearning Right for You?

athens scuba park

Scuba eLearning is an online form of study, used by many professionals and educators. Scuba eLearning includes prescriptive and engaging reviews of scuba principles and procedures. It includes two equally important components. The knowledge review is done with ReActivate Online Learning, and the refresher of diving skills with PADI Professional. Divers who successfully complete the ReActivate program receive a new certification card, with a ReActivated date. Divers who have previously completed the program from another training organization may receive a ReActivate Recognition Card. ReActivate eLearning includes 20 sections and many scenarios.

PADI eLearning (Internet-based) is an online form of education.

PADI eLearning offers the same course content as traditional classroom training, but it is available online. Both the course content, and the instructor procedures are the identical. There are however some differences. The eLearning program is not as detailed as the traditional classroom course, so the student must have some knowledge of computers and Internet technology to take advantage of it. Online courses offer convenience for busy people regardless of the format.

To enroll in online courses, you must use your PADI eLearning Account. PADI requires that each student create an email account. This account is completely free. You will receive your eLearning materials only if you have a valid email account. To be able to receive your temporary card and your actual cards, you must have your PADI certification training record. An older photo of you from prior PADI certification courses is also acceptable.

The PADI eLearning program relies on assessment, response scoring, and remediation training. Each material section is followed by Quick Quiz-Self Assessments. Answering a short quiz requires the student to choose an answer. If the student gives an incorrect answer they are shown the correct one and directed to the section. They can move on to the Knowledge Review if they pass.
