Scuba Diving Magazine has revealed the winners of its Readers' Choice Awards. These awards allow readers to vote on their favorite dive locations. Aggressor Adventures in the Bahamas won 79 awards. That's a 34-award win over the runnerup. Readers can also vote online about their favorite dive sites or locations.
Bonaire ranked second under Advanced Diving.
Scuba Diving Magazine readers have named Bonaire a top Caribbean/Atlantic dive destination for the fifth consecutive year. Bonaire was honored with honorable mentions at the Best Shore Diving Destination, Best Visibility, Best Underwater Photography, and Best Advanced Diving. The magazine's November 2021 issue features the reader's choice awards.
Bonaire's bike and hiking trails are available to visitors. Even flamingos are possible to be seen in the national park. The island also has its own water filtering system, which makes the tap water safe for consumption. The island had 114 nests of healthy turtles in 2016. This was the highest number ever recorded during a single nesting season.

The fringing island's reef runs parallel along its leeward side, making it easy access to dive sites. The reef is shallow and warm, allowing for visibility to reach up to 80 feet/100 meters.
