Tec 40 course

The PADI Tec 40 program expands on recreational diving skills to include advanced techniques. In this course, students will be introduced to two decompression gases - air and trimix 65 - and learn more advanced tec deep diver skills. Tec 40 students will also learn how back gas is used and how to master buoyancy management. In addition, they will learn advanced nitrox theory.

The Tec40 course emphasizes team diving techniques, self-reliance and communication in water. Students are also taught more about decompression theory and how it can be used to optimize dive planning. Additionally, the course covers equipment configuration and best practices.
