How to become a master diver in the United States Navy

The highest level of war qualification in diving is master diver in US Navy. Enlisted persons have the greatest depth of knowledge, experience and training regarding all aspects and salvage. You must have at minimum 15 years of diving experience and have successfully completed a specialization course to be considered master diver. The United States Navy offers a specialization program that will allow you to earn master diver status.

PADI Master Scuba Diver

PADI Master Scuba Diver certification signifies that you have mastered scuba diving. It is offered by several North American divers training agencies, such as the National Association of Underwater Instructors. The Professional Association of Diving Instructors. Scuba Schools International. and the Professional Scuba Diver Association. This course is considered the most prestigious level of dive certification. You must dive at least thirty feet below the surface to complete the course.

NAUI Master Scuba Diver

The NAUI Master Scuba Diver Course might be for you if your goal is to improve your scuba diving skills. The course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to organize diving trips for other divers. You will be able use a compass, recognize pre-panic signs, and perform underwater communications. Learn how to lead a diver in a new place. This course includes both classroom sessions and open water dives.


NAUI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver

A great way to enhance your diving experience is to take the NAUI EnrichedAir Master Diver (NITX). The course covers many aspects related to enriched air diving, such as how to mix Nitrox or oxygen. The course teaches students how to analyze the breath mixture and how the physiology of nitrogen and oxygen affects the safety of handling the gases. They'll also learn about Equivalent Water Depth and common gases mixing techniques. You can take the enriched-air course as an extension to your open water diver certification. This is required in order to be able use the enriched mix.

NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver

It is necessary to complete the required courses in order to fulfill your dream of becoming an NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver Master Diver instructor. This certification is a prerequisite in the NAUI FIT program, which will prepare you to be a professional NAUI Instructor/Leader. You can start by enrolling in the Try Scuba Program. The goal of this program is to teach you the basic skills and knowledge required to safely dive in open water.

NAUI First Aid course

Master divers can take a NAUI First Aid course to prepare them to handle a wide range of emergency situations that may arise in the water. The course includes refresher sessions as well as valuable information about new First Aid standards, training best practices, and other useful information. You will have the knowledge and skills to immediately respond to an emergency. You can also practice the skills you have learned in class by taking the course hands-on.
