PADI Open Water Diver Certification
PADI Open Water Diver certifications can be purchased for as low at $350 - provided you find a school that offers it. However, this course will require at least four open water dives to earn your certification. Skill for confined water scuba diving
PADI Instructor Manual includes a list containing the required skills for each level. These skills include mask clearing, ascent and descent, neutral buoyancy at different depths, and setting up and using your gear. These skills are necessary for open water diving. However, confined diving is much simpler. It is also much more fun. You'll also be able to experience different wildlife by diving under the sun.
The PADI Open Water Diver experience begins at 8.30 am. The experience begins with a brief orientation and a theoretical session. Finally, you will have a practical session in restricted water. During this time, you'll learn to breathe underwater, compensate for pressure, and retrieve your regulator. You'll then embark on a PADI dive on a boat to the Atlantic Princess, a thirty-meter-long wreck rich in marine life.
Maximum training depth
Open Water certification teaches you how to safely dive as far as possible. Open Water certified divers still have questions about the depth they are permitted to dive. Most agencies allow up to 50 minutes of open water diving before they recommend that divers go deeper. Below are some guidelines to help you decide if you should train at this level.
A course of advanced swimming will require you to be able swim at least 50ft/15m without stopping. A typical course lasts fourteen minute so you must be able to swim at least 200 yards (185 meters). A single-cylinder of at least 72 feet capacity will be required, as well as sufficient supervision. A suitable exposure suit for the duration of your course is also required.
Requirements
