White Point dive is one the most fascinating in LA. It has white bacterial mats along the bottom and is close to the hypo-thermal hotsprings. This dive site features an old shipwreck as well as rock reefs and kelp. These are all common sights. High tide is the best day to dive.

Leo Carillo

Leo Carrillo La is a California state parks located along Los Angeles County's southern coast. It is located in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and has 1.5 miles of sandy beach that extends into Santa Monica Mountains. The pristine waters off Leo Carrillo State Park are a great place for scuba divers.

Divers have three options when it comes to Leo Carrillo. These dive sites are great for beginners, with easy entry points and plenty of parking. You can also go night diving or lobster hunting at these sites, and you will find lots of marine life.

Santa Barbara Island

Santa Barbara Island is home of some amazing offshore dive sites. To reach these sites, visitors can board a visiting boat. These areas are great for photography and hunting, as they are usually very rocky. These areas are home to healthy kelp and purple hydro coral. You can also see the ocean from this area, which is great for Southern California waters.


It is possible to kayak and snorkel on the island. Tent camping is possible if it's allowed by the weather. It is also home to large numbers of pinnipeds such as harbor seals, northern Elephant seals, and California Sea Lions. These animals can be seen in the rocks surrounding the sea lion nestery. There are several overlooks on the island.

Anacapa Island

There is a wide variety of marine life on Anacapa Island. The area is also home to one the United States's first Marine Protected Areas. This area offers great diving for both beginners and seasoned divers. The waters surrounding the island are warm enough to allow you to dive with a wetsuit. In the fall and late summer, surface temperatures can reach 70 degrees F (21 degrees Celsius). However, temperatures can fall to a low of 50deg F (10deg C) during the colder months of winter. It is recommended that you use a 7mm waterproof suit. These months are when visibility is generally at least 100 feet (30M).

Access to Anacapa's dive site can be made by charter boats or the Island Packers. There are many dive sites on the Island, including a 40-foot high arch rock. These sites can also be viewed from the surface using snorkeling gear.

Veteran's park

Veteran's Park on Ocean Drive is a Green Space that features a playground and fields. This is a great place for families to spend time together. It is also close to the beaches. You can enjoy a stunning view of the ocean at the park, especially on a sunny afternoon. It's open all year round and has lots to offer.

Parking is easy. If you're a first-time diver, Veteran's Park is the best place to start your diving adventure. It is easily accessible with restrooms and parking. The meter can be checked at all times. There's also an outdoor shower that can be used to clean up your gear. There is also a changing area. However, the restrooms are closed at dusk.
