Sipadan

The lure of Sipadan's reefs, a popular spot among divers in the Philippines, is too tempting for scuba divers. This area is located within a coral triangle which makes it one of the most biodiverse marine environment in the world. Sharks, lion fish, and turtles are all common sights around this area. You'll find it easy to explore the underwater world of Sipadan. Visibility is between 15 and 40 meters.

Shark Reef Marine Reserve

The Shark Reef Marine Reserve is home to some of most amazing dives around the globe. You will find many different species of fish, coral and other marine life when you visit the marine reserve. It is an unforgettable experience. There are 125 types of sharks as well as more than 5,000 seaweed species and mollusks. Heart Reef is one of these amazing sites. This magnificent structure, which measures 17 meters wide, is breathtaking from the sky.

Half Moon Caye Wall

You will find many marine species at this amazing dive site. A recent discovery shows that the wall is also home to sharks, who have recently named it their new home. While you're on the wall, look out for sea fans, brain coral, and other critters. There may be a few turtles. You might be feeling more adventurous and want to explore underwater tunnels between coral outcrops.


Yongala

Divers can choose from several options to dive the SS Yongala. Liveaboards leave from Townsville, which is just 3 hours away by fast boat. Advanced certified divers will enjoy the dives at 30m depth. A day trip to the SS Yongala is an option if you are able to afford it. The trip takes three hours in total and includes two tanks.

Punta Vicente Roca

Punta VicenteRoca dive site is unique in that it is 200km from the closest inhabited island. A variety of sea creatures can be seen here, including red-lipped batfish, Galapagos marines iguanas, and black-striped schooling salema. Photographers might also get a glimpse of the endangered Galapagos flightless comorants.

Bonaire

Bonaire's diverse and beautiful diving spots will delight divers. There are many outstanding dive spots on the leeward side, including the 1000 Steps, named after the narrow, long stairway that leads to it. This spot is popular with divers and snorkellers alike. It has clear water and abundant schooling fishing fish. This site is a combination of the popular Karpata dive site and offers spectacular drop-offs as well as massive coral formations.
