There are several good scuba diving sites in St Lucia. Trou Diable (Anse Chastanet), Trou Diable (Anse Cochon North & South) are just a few of the many good scuba dive sites. Drift diving is possible on the plateau because of strong currents. You will find large shoals of fish as well as sting rays, nurse sharks, and turtles in this area.
Anse Chastanet
Anse Chastanet has a wide variety of tropical marine life, making it a very popular scuba dive destination in St Lucia. It is home to more than 150 species of fish and stretches to 20 to 140 feet deep. It is also popular for underwater photographers.
The Anse Chastanet resort can be found in a peaceful setting near the Pitons, and close to some of the island's most famous reefs. The resort was established in 1968. There are now 48 rooms, with breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding areas. It's located between two ridges, and a steep hillside, which gives it a stunning location.

Trou Diable, a beautiful dive site in St Lucia is one of the top places to visit when planning a scuba-diving trip. The dive site is 40 feet deep with a spectacular coral reef. Divers have the option to circle the reef 100ft below the surface to view a variety turtles and tropical fish.

Anse Cochon North & South
Anse Cochon North & South Reef are two dive sites that can be explored by scuba divers. Both sites can be reached from the beach, and they range in depth between 10-40 feet. These are excellent dive spots for both beginners and advanced divers. While coral is found more on the northern side of this reef, reef fish are abundant at both ends. Expect to see trumpetfish, sea whips, and eels, as well as octopus.
Anse Cochon is home to the Lesleen M. This old cargo ship was used by the Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia as an artificial coral reef. The wreck is now surrounded with seagrass beds which attract many types of fish. Barracudas and stingrays might be found on the wreck. It was intentionally sunk as a dive spot.
